Simergent’s co-founder and CEO, Steve Lindo, previously worked in R&D and systems engineering for medical device and defense corporations. He is the former Lead System Designer for Baxter Healthcare's automated peritoneal dialysis system. He has achieved several successful FDA 510(k) and CE Mark clearances for peritoneal dialysis and IV infusion pump systems.
Rick Pendergraft, Ph.D
Co-FOUNDER
Rick Pendergraft, Ph.D. is Simergent's co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. He has 22 years of experience as a software developer, design engineer, and product development team manager. Dr. Pendergraft has extensive experience developing products for regulated industries including banking, insurance, aerospace, and medical devices.
Dr. James Sloand, MD, FACP, FASN
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Sloand has 40 years of experience as a nephrologist. He was a Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester with clinical, academic and research responsibilities during his 24-year tenure. Over the next 11 years, he worked at Baxter Healthcare where he was the Therapeutic Area Lead for their peritoneal dialysis business. He is widely respected by his peers across the globe. Dr. Sloand also currently serves as a Clinical Professor of Medicine for George Washington University.
